A Child Sponsorship Story
In November, it was brought to our attention by Elmond Jean that a 3 year old child needed a home.
The special needs child was abandoned by his mother and his father could no longer care for him, or
supply him with the food, medicines or a safe environment he needed.
After several weeks of looking for satisfactory placement for Miguel, the Elliott Foundation was able to
secure his placement with Mustard seed Orphanage.
Donations made it possible for his medical assessments subsequent prescriptions. Shortly after, we
were able to find three people who joined together to sponsor this child.
Today Miguel thrives in his safe and caring environment and receives all the nurture and care he
requires. In addition to sponsorship, the Elliott Foundation offers donations in kind, such donated
children’s medicines and other supplies.
